Well. That was an interesting few weeks. Birthdays led right into Solstice (which is also the night our family has a small celebration and exchanges gifts), which led into more birthdays, and then Christmas (which involved two separate 4/5-day trips), followed by New Years (Eve and Day), and culminated in Mike's 37th birthday (He's a New Years Baby!). Add to that the fact that we all were ill (with something horrible that felt an awful lot like a respiratory flu of some sort) for the entire week and a half leading up to Christmas, and...well...like I said: that was an interesting few weeks.
We are all home now. And healthy. And, despite the illness/traveling/general craziness, we managed to have an exceptionally wonderful holiday season this year. We are truly very, very lucky people.
We have so many great memories, and I thought I'd end up posting loads of pictures...but I think instead I'm just going to go with this one.
