Eva attended a creative dance class last Saturday...which turned out to be right up her alley: it was a class with STORIES! Her instructor spent an hour and a half reading "movement" stories to the kids, while they moved thier bodies along to the words (and music).

One of the stories she read had the kids pretending they were watching clouds in the sky and/or moving their bodies into the shapes of those clouds. The teacher asked what shapes they were seeing and one by one the kids answered with standard "horses" or "doggies" or "trees." And then out of the blue, Eva yelled out "A VOLCANO!" and in a heartbeat, the teacher had all the kids doing their very best volcano impressions.

(After class, the instructor complimented Eva on her creativity.) (I was not surprised.) So proud of our girlie, once again.
