Happy St. Patrick's Day! As you read this, the slam crew is busily filling our bathtub with Bailey's Irish Cream for our annual St. Patty's Day Shindig and Moisturizing Bath Retreat. Unfortunately, we're running out of Bailey's and the tub's only about half full (or half empty, if you swing that way). Looks like we might need to crack open our keg of green Miller High Life—it doesn't make your skin very soft, but we'll get over it. Hopefully we'll get through St. Patrick's this year without another big brannigan. Did you know that " brannigan" means "fight" and sounds like an Irish word? You do now.
Looking to have some fun tonight? Are you over 21? Are you having fun riding the 'Bluegrass is Cool Again' musical bandwagon? Well, have we got news for you! Totally amazing bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles will be on stage at the House of Rock tonight, thrashing mandolins like Jimmy Page (if he'd been born in Arkansas). These guys are from Duluth, MN, and they are the real deal, folks. Check them out.
