Bill Cosby Would Be Proud

So the wedding shower Mike and I went to had a theme. The couple is saving up for a new refrigerator, and we were to bring a gift of “cold cash” to help towards their goal. The invitation instructed us to empty our pockets, purses, and couch cushions of all loose change and present that change to the happy couple in a container usually found in a refrigerator.

Oh. And there would be prizes (Prizes!) for the most creative containers.

The Pauluses never, ever back down from a wacky contest. Particularly when there are prizes involved. So...did we win?
