We spent this past weekend up in Webster, WI, celebrating Christmas with Mike's family (which was lots of fun, but that's not why we're here today.) Mike's parents live in the woods, and there are lots of hills all around their house, including their driveway...which means it's a great place to go sledding!
Mike's dad spent Saturday morning outside with his snow blower creating paths and sliding "chutes" all over the yard. I don't think I need to tell you how awesome it was!
Eva LOVED "ride-een sled," and she'd do this little "oooh" all the way to the bottom of the hill. At which point she'd demand to go "AGAIN!" The best part was her Grampa Jerry got out his 4-wheeler and towed everyone (5 adults and 5 little girls) back up the hill as we arrived at the bottom. Now, Eva's walking around saying "Be careful. Ride tractor."
If you can ignore my screeches of terror, you may be able to hear little Eva whispering "oooh" in the following video as we're heading down the hill. That's right, Mike and I thoughtfully captured one of Eva's many runs down the driveway especially for you guys (you know, since you couldn't be there and all). Enjoy. (See if you can pinpoint the moment we almost collided with a snowbank. It's tough to pick out.)
