Deep Freeze

Jumpity.

Sully's going a little stir crazy with this winter's "too cold to go out and play are you nuts?" weather. So, since he loves LOVES to jump so much, I made a few games for him yesterday. This one was by far his favorite:

I put down 8 lines of tape on the carpet, with about a foot of space in between them. I labeled them 0-7, and told him to stand on line 0 and jump as far as he could down the row.

He. Loved. It.

The boy jumped around on these lines for most of the afternoon, making up his own games and challenges with them, trying to beat his own record jumps. And then later in the evening, when Mike and Eva were home, he dove right back into jumping--and Eva joined the fun too!

I hope these tape lines are still so much fun in the days to come, because I don't think we'll have cold weather relief any time soon... Sigh.
